A CONVERSATION WITH KAREN KERR ‘89
Please join us for a conversation with Karen Kerr, Managing Director of ARCH Venture Partners. Karen Kerr manages the firm’s New York Office. Prior to joining ARCH in 1996, Ms. Kerr was an associate at Patricof & Co. Ventures in New York. Previously, Ms. Kerr was a consultant with ARCH Development Corporation.
Ms. Kerr currently concentrates on seed and early stage investments in life science, information technology, communications and semiconductor companies. Ms. Kerr is currently on the board of AmberWave Systems, Ensemble, Infinicon Systems, NewMonics and NexCura. She is also a board observer at Accelerator Corp.
Ms. Kerr holds an A.B. in Chemistry from Bryn Mawr College and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from The University of Chicago. Ms. Kerr was a member of the Charter Class of Kaufman Fellows.
Ms. Kerr currently is a member of the Physical Sciences Division Visiting Committee at the University of Chicago and serves on the Executive Board of the Bryn Mawr College Alumnae Association. Previously, she served on the planning committee for the 2001 Springboard Midwest Venture Capital Conference.
