Tour Christo’s Gates in Central Park
with Art Historian Emily Kies Folpe ’65
Please join us for this unique opportunity to visit The Gates by Christo and Jeanne-Claude installed in Central Park for two weeks only. The tour starts at the Metropolitan Museum where we will view and discuss Christo’s work from the Museum’s roof garden. From there we will go into the park to experience the installation more intimately.

Emily Kies Folpe
Emily received a Ph.D. in Art History from Columbia University. She teaches
at NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Education and lectures at
the Metropolitan Museum of Art. For many years she served as Museum Educator
at The Museum of Modern Art and taught at Sarah Lawrence College.
