----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Experience the world of the wine industry with The Italian Culinary Institute and The Bryn Mawr Club of New York City. Far beyond a wine tasting, this event will bring together a full range of wine professionals, from professors of the art and expert winemakers to producers and distributors. Paolo Villoresi, ebullient host of The Italian Cooking & Living television series and Editor-in-Chief of the magazines Italian Cooking & Living, La Cucina Italiana and Cibo, will give a historical overview, moving on to, among other respected guests, Alberto Marchetto, renowned for his winemaking in Italy, now working with U.S. producer Cap*Rock Winery. There will be a mini-demonstration of how wine is produced. A producer and distributor will describe their respective parts in wine's journey to your glass. And this is only a taste of an evening that will include sampling and informative notes on a number of wines from Italy, the U.S. and other parts of the world. Join us for this full-bodied experience; we expect a sizable group, so make your reservations soon.

Pledged items include behind-the-scenes guided tours of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and other New York institutions, signed copies of books by Bryn Mawr authors such as Francine du Plessix Gray, fine wines, stylish home accessories, and don't forget tutoring sessions for the standardized test of your choice GRE/GMAT/LSAT.
