Personals

From Sara Ehler, ‘95
I am seeking a housesitting and/or petsitting position in Manhattan or Brooklyn for the Fall or longer.  I am a full-time student at FIT, mature, responsible, and a non-smoker.  In addition, I have experience as a nanny and could babysit when available.  Excellent references.  Please call 646 797 0587 or e-mail saehlers_2000@yahoo.com

From Caryl Snapperman Avery, '67
Close friends of ours are looking to swap their Venice, Italy apartment for a nice Manhattan apartment for 10 days or so, anytime from mid-September through mid-October.  Their apartment has two bedrooms, a lovely living room, dining room, kitchen, bath, eat-on terrace and a smaller stand-on terrace for cocktails—all with great views of Venice, a stone's throw from the charming Piazza Sta. Margharita and the Frari Church.  As their apartment is in an old palazzo, you must be game for walking up lots of stairs (no elevator).  As background, Laurie Graham is a well-known Britisn novelist and has just published her 10th or so novel "Gone with the Windsors."  A couple of her recent novels have been published in the U.S., too.  Her husband, Howard Fitzpatrick, is an American who has had a number of successful careers and who now gives private art tours in Venice. If interested, please contact Caryl Avery, '67, at 212 404 6604 (office) or by e-mail: caryl@carylavery.com.
